Over the last 3 days we have fished at shady camp and have been able to finally catch a few. The rivers are up very high now- we have been cut off to darwin for the next couple of days as the Adelaide River is over the road.
Hi Pen and Nick Finally some fish - yeah. Looks great that they are getting bigger and bigger. Hopefully the weather will also start to improve and the rain will stop. looks like we are on the dry in some part and our Easter holiday will go ahead - we did see shots of the motel with the water flowing through the rooms!! No fish in this part of the world except we have had some beautiful weather - must be a secret that the wind will drop away in Autumn down here - cold morning but cloudless days - as I speak the temperature is dropping to 15d tomorrow. Good painting weather Mike says. We are nearly at an end after 17 windows, and more than 14 doors. I spent 8 hours the other day just edging - so today I had a go on the ride on. Wow what fun! But I think it was either the jarring or me holding on too tight as I think the muscles in my arm muscles are in a lots of pain.(Nothing a wine won't fix.) Mike found snake number two today and well say no more - it measured 102cm nearly as long as one of your barra - and no we are not aiming to beat your fish. so its a new pair of blunnies for me at the next shopping trip.
