Week 2 at Mary River
The fishing has inpropved as to the weather, the last of the rain has been and the roads opened up on friday. We caught some nice fish earlier during the week. Nick cracked the 1meter mark, with a 104cm barra on tuesday. Have been 'mud crabbing' but to no luck yet, hopefully we will get some when the tides are a little smaller.

Finally some fish
Over the last 3 days we have fished at shady camp and have been able to finally catch a few. The rivers are up very high now- we have been cut off to darwin for the next couple of days as the Adelaide River is over the road.

Roper river and Mary river
Made it to the roper river on Monday, the water still rather high, have to wait another week or so to go back and fish there! Saw some rather large crocs, hooked 2 good siZe barra but they both didn't manage to get in boat! Off to the Mary river today to check things out, water levels are still high here aswell but will see how we go!

After seeing lots of red dirt, emus, snakes, lizards and road trains we have made it to Marla 1800km down another 1900km to go to get to the roper bar. Picture taken at lake gairdner.
